Every House Has A History

Posted December 19, 2011 by Jennifer

cabin Here’s some food for thought. Do you ever wonder who lived in your house before you did? What exciting, or maybe even famous, events may have happened in your home before it was yours?

There are a few ways you can go about figuring out what secrets your house may hold. This is a great article from TLC that outlines all of the easiest ways to get the answers you want.

Here are two interesting examples of how normal homes can have unexpected histories:

  • A traditional looking cabin in the Adirondacks was once a silo for nuclear missiles.
  • A slideshow of homes that are fit for a spy.

Would you let a house’s history have a significant role in deciding whether or not to live there?
